    Scripture Memory Verse:

    Though the fig tree should not blossom,
        nor fruit be on the vines,
    the produce of the olive fail
        and the fields yield no food,
    the flock be cut off from the fold
        and there be no herd in the stalls,
     yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
        I will take joy in the God of my salvation.  Habakkuk 3:17-18

    Reflection Questions:

    1. Describe a time you have felt like Habakkuk in 1:2.
    2. Compare 2:4 with Psalm 10:4 and Romans 1:16-17. How are these verses similar and unlike Habakkuk 2:4?
    3. What does this book tell us of the nature/attributes of God?
    4. Read Hab 3:17-18. What things in your life would be parallel to those mentioned? How easy would it be to rejoice if you lost it all?
