Middle & High School Youth

Sunday School

Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. (Sept. 23-June 2)

All 7th - 12th graders meet in the worship center at 9:30 a.m. for an opening before being dismissed to age-appropriate small groups. All classes are taught by dedicated, trained volunteers from St. Luke’s who have satisfactory background checks.

Charis

Sundays Sept - May
9:30 a.m.
Charis (Greek for "Grace") is a sisterhood for girls grades 10-12, created for teen girls to draw closer to God as they become women of connection, strength, heart, action, and beauty through Christ. We submit our lives to Christ and commit to providing support, encouragement, accountability, challenge and connection for our young women and female leaders. High School is tough enough, you don’t have to go through it alone. All girls in grades 10-12 are welcome to join us for Bible studies, special activities, and great discussion on Sunday mornings. Hope to see you there!

Alieis

Sundays Sept - May
9:30 a.m.
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers (ἁλιεῖς) of men” (Matthew 4:19). Alieis means “fishers.” While many of us do like to fish, this group of fishers is a brotherhood of guys grades 10-12 and spiritual leaders who take seriously the calling of God to be “fishers of men.” Our goal is to make “men of God out of the children of God” by giving them the tools necessary to carry out their calling. Our Sunday morning meetings include Bible studies, special events, and great discussion. See you there!

Youth Group

Wednesdays @ 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Youth in Grades 7-12 hang out for a time of fellowship, activities and Bible study. Wednesday nights are a great way for youth to connect with their peers as well as with their Savior and Lord who seeks to call them His own. For more information, contact Pastor Aaron: .

Confirmation

Sundays Sept - May @ 9:30 a.m.
Confirmation is an opportunity for youth to confirm the faith they have been given in their baptism. When a person is baptized, our heavenly Father forgives their sins, rescues them from death and the devil, gives His Holy Spirit to be present in their lives, and gives them the gift of eternal life. Confirmation is the opportunity for that person to publicly acknowledge God’s gifts and commit their lives into His hands (Matthew 10:32). We believe this is best done in conjunction with teaching the faith at home. In preparation for Confirmation, students and their parents are taught the truths and habits of the Christian faith through regular Sunday meetings and retreats. Upon completing Confirmation instruction, students will publicly profess their faith in Jesus and confirm their baptisms before the congregation in a commitment to this church community. Learn more about Confirmation here.

Young Adults

Young adults are busy with college, jobs, and, with whatever time there is left, a social life. Our young adults meet in the midst of busy schedules to study Scripture and hang out with each other. Please join us on Sunday mornings for worship and Adult Bible Study at 9:30 a.m. in the Great Room.
