Worship and the Arts

Music and Arts are an integral part of worship at St Luke's. We integrate a variety of styles ranging from a Praise Band to a traditional organ and choir. From time-to-time our Hand-bell Choir and the children's choir are included in our worship services.

Most services feature contemporary Christian worship music, led by the Praise Band. The 8:00 am Sunday service follows a traditional Lutheran worship liturgy, which is organ and choir led. Auditions for the praise team are held twice a year.

We incorporate visual arts in our services by the use of digital graphic design and videos projected on our big screen in the worship center. The combination of music and visual arts help enhance our worship experience.

Outside of the worship services, St Luke's offers opportunities to participate in various forms of theater. We produce large Broadway-style productions ranging from full scale musicals to small plays, as well as Broadway style concerts.

Each summer, we offer a 10-day Drama Camp for children, culminating in their own theatrical production. Drama Camp is a great way for children to get a taste of being part of a theater production. Often alumni from Drama Camp come back to participate in our larger fall and spring productions. Watch the website, or church announcements each year, in late spring, as we begin to advertise for the summer Drama Camp.
