To seek out and bring people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
God is personal and not only longs to walk with us through life but has given each of us unique gifts and callings. We believe we need each other on this journey and that church is where we discover these things together. Our desire is that you fully realize the person God made you and find the joy and passion of living, loving, and learning in Jesus.
THE LUTHERAN CHURCH, MISSOURI SYNOD
St Luke's is a congregation of the Northwest District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS has more than 2.3 million baptized members in over 6,100 congregations and more than 9,000 pastors. LCMS congregations operate the largest Protestant parochial school system in America.
As Lutherans, we believe we are sinners saved by Christ alone. The teaching of Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
We believe and teach that the Bible is the inerrant and inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible reveals that all of us are separated from God by our sin (Romans 3:10-20), and it also reveals that God became a human being, the Jesus of the Bible, through whom we are forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God (Romans 3:21-28). This good news of forgiveness and reconciliation in Jesus is the Gospel we preach.
